Ilie Năstase appreciates Simona’s strategy to prepare thoroughly before the Australian Open , by participating in two tournaments in Australia, in Melbourne Summer Set and Sydney.
“For Romanian tennis, I hope to have more Grand Slam winners if possible! We have 11 players at the Australian Open (no – 5 in the main draw and 6 in the qualifiers). I saw that Simona Halep is going to play some tournaments before the Australian Open, very good thing. It will help her to be prepared for the Grand Slam,” Ilie Năstase told ProSport .
