Simona Halep , world number 18, received a wild card for the WTA 250 tournament in Linz (Austria) , which will take place between November 6-12 , the organizers announced.

Our athlete posted a message on social networks in which she thanked the Austrians for the wild card.
“Hello! I am pleased to tell you that I will participate in another tournament this year. A big thank you for the wild card to the Linz tournament organizers. I can’t wait to get back there ,” wrote Simona Halep on Twitter.

Simona Halep received a wild card for the tournament in Linz (Austria), the organizers announced.
”@Simona_Halep has accepted a wildcard for the 2021 edition of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz tournament. This year’s list of participants, which includes Simo and Emma (Răducanu), will be fantastic!”, says the message posted by the Linz tournament organizers.
The Briton of Romanian origin Emma Răducanu,the reigning US Open champion, previously confirmed her participation in Linz. The Romanians Sorana Cîrstea, Irina Begu and Gabriela Ruse will also perform in Linz .
The tournament, with total prizes of $235,238, was won last year by Aryna Sabalenka.
This week, Halep and Răducanu participate in the WTA 250 tournament from Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania Open.
