Jake Paul has ranked upcoming opponent Mike Tyson as the No.1 heavyweight of all time over the likes of Tyson Fury and Muhammad Ali.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is currently in the final stages of training for his showdown with the boxing icon. The clash between the two stars is scheduled to take place on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas in front of up to 90,000 fans. It will be recognised as a professional outing and will take place in the heavyweight division.
Since making his debut back in 2020, ‘The Problem Child’ has established himself as a real household name in the sport. With a professional record of 10-1, the 27-year-old has defeated the likes of Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and Tyron Woodley already in his short career. His only defeat in boxing came on points against Tommy Fury last year.
As for his opponent, ‘Iron Mike’ is widely-regarded as one of the best heavyweights in the history of the sport. During the peak of his powers, the former world champion defeated the likes of Marvis Frazier, Trevor Berbick, Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks and Frank Bruno before hanging up the gloves in 2005. With fight night just weeks away, Paul was recently interviewed by Sports Illustrated, who provided the outlet with how preparations for the contest were going and also had his say on UFC star Conor McGregor. At the end of the chat, the 27-year-old was asked to blind rank five heavyweight greats – eventually placing Tyson at the top of the pile.
