The latest voice of support for Świątek came from Anastasia Potapova, who is currently playing in the WTA 500 tournament in Linz. This is her third tournament this year. The Russian has now admitted that the players play too much and that it has been difficult for her to organize a suitable schedule.
“We play way too much. Even if we compare it to other sports. We play non-stop, week after week. If you are at home for five days in two months, that’s really good,” Potapova said, as quoted by Tennis365.
