Simona Halep will open the 16th day of Roland Garros on Philippe Chatrier court . Tomorrow, the Romanian will meet the American Amanda Anisimova in the quarter-finals, from 15:00 (Romanian time), according to the schedule announced by the organizers.
Halep comes after two decisive victories in the previous rounds, 6-2, 6-1 against Lesia Tsurenko and 6-1, 6-0 against Iga Swiatek. Anisimova reached the quarterfinals without losing a set. The 17-year-old player (51st WTA) defeated Harmony Tan, Aryna Sabalenka, Irina Begu and Aliona Bolsova Zadoinov.
