The Italian has been comfortably the best player on the ATP Tour this year and capped a fine year by winning the ATP Finals in Turin on Sunday.
Sinner has won eight titles during 2024, including his first two Grand Slams – the Australian Open and the US Open – and has now claimed that ATP Finals trophy to add to his haul.
The 23-year-old has worked tirelessly at his game and before this year he’d not even reached the final of a Grand Slam event.
Sinner overcame Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-4, to win the tournament in Turin and go one step further than last season when he lost to Novak Djokovic in the final.

The Italian has left no stone unturned in his quest for global tennis dominance.
With Carlos Alcaraz sharing the majors with him in 2024, it looks as though a new rivalry is now emerging and in the years to come, there will be some great battles no doubt.
Sinner has been a juggernaut this year though and he’s way ahead at the top of the world rankings right now – with Alexander Zverev currently in second.
It really has been a case of practice makes perfect for Sinner and he’s now lifted the lid on what was happening in practice ahead of the clash with Fritz in the final of the ATP Finals event.
He said in his press conference: “I actually believe there is still a gap of improvement. I mean, today I served very, very well at times, which was not the case throughout the whole tournament. There are still certain shots and points that I can make sometimes better, but they are small details.
“The higher you play level-wise, the more details make the difference. I’m not looking about being the first whatever. It’s just stats that are not written.
“Me, I always try to improve as a player and try to understand what I can do better. This week was something where I always felt the ball very good.
“Even in practice sessions, it was very smooth-going. The connection with the crowd was very nice. Let’s see what’s coming next year. The future, nobody can predict.”

It’s mad to think what Sinner has achieved this year on the tennis circuit.
Although Sinner’s quality was recognised prior to the year of 2024, there were doubts over whether he’d be able to truly dominate the sport quite like this.
Winning eight titles is quite remarkable and he will have his sights on the Davis Cup later this month and then the defence of his Australian Open title in the New Year.

Sinner is the man to beat right now and on current form, it looks as though he might take some stopping during 2025 too.
