Iga Świątek has had a great time. A few days ago, the Polish player won the Mutua Open tournament in Madrid for the first time, in the final of which she defeated the vice-leader of the WTA ranking, Aryna Sabalenka. The leader of the ranking is already preparing for the tournament in Rome, during which she will fight to defend the trophy. Now, in the latest interview, she mentioned that she was not really taught to focus on her appearance, which she is now making up for. She also notices the disadvantages of her perfectionism, which is sometimes her torment.

Iga Świątek manages to surprise her fans from time to time, when they can see her in a completely different version than on the court. When the leader of the WTA ranking puts on an elegant dress and changes her hairstyle or puts on a little make-up, her fans crow with delight. The Pole notices this and emphasizes that she likes to feel attractive.
“[…] Now I’m more open, I appreciate when I can dress elegantly, feel feminine and attractive. It’s nice to see that I look nice. Vain? Rather positively. I wear sportswear every day, so it’s a really great change (laughter)” – said Iga Świątek when asked how she feels in the role of a woman that everyone looks at.

The Pole, who has already earned over 3.5 million dollars on the court this year, does not hide the fact that some time ago she started to take advantage of the fact that she earns a lot and can spend more than she might think. “I had to learn to use what I have done and managed to get in life. Last year I went shopping a few times (laughter). I try to enjoy everything that I work so hard for,” Iga Świątek confessed in “Elle”, who approaches the subject of money with caution, and from home she learned not to squander it left and right, but to respect its power.
