Former golfer Paige Spiranac emerged as a prominent social media personality after her early retirement from the sport. She often shares her fashion content with her millions of followers.
Spiranac posted a nostalgic Halloweenlook ahead of the festive weekend. She dressed up as Velma from Scooby Doo. The 31-year-old chose an orange crop top, red skirt and the signature black glasses to complete her look. Spiranac also used a short brown hair wig with fringes to turn herself into Velma.`
She wrote in her caption:
“Velma is back!”
Paige Spiranac had dressed up as Velmalast year as well. Seems like this year, she has returned to the look that had garnered her a lot of love and appreciation from her fans.
Paige Spiranac spoke to SI Swimsuit during her photoshoot for the brand’s 60th magazine anniversary cover. She talked about what helped her career development and she feels that the fact golf is a male-dominated industry has actually not been a hindrance.
“I think some people look at being a woman and think ‘I don’t really like this,’ or ‘There are so many disadvantages.’ I see it quite differently. I think being a woman in a male-dominated industry has been the reason I’ve been so successful.”
She further added:
“I’ve used every tool in my tool bag, and I’ve never shied away from it. I created a few new ones as well. People will look at me and underestimate me; I think that’s actually what’s so amazing about being a woman. It’s people underestimating you and always being able to prove them wrong.”
