As I already stated, the confrontation between Miriam Bulgaru and Kathinka von Deichmann was electrifying and was decided after more than two hours of play.
Following the triumph in Bucharest, the athlete from Romania secured 125 points in the WTA ranking and a check for 15,000 dollars. On the other hand, the finalist from Liechtenstein will not leave the capital of Romania empty-handed either. For her, the organizers had prepared a check for 8,000 dollars, plus 81 WTA points.
